About the Role:
As the Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager by leading your team during shifts, setting the tone with your hands-on approach. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth service, even running your own section when needed. The venue operates 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, with dinner being the busiest time. Most shifts will be from 3 PM to close, Monday through Friday, or with two weekdays off. In this 2IC role, you’ll step into the Restaurant Manager’s position during their absence.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a high-volume a la carte restaurant, ideally as a Senior Food and Beverage Attendant, Team Leader, or Supervisor.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong passion for food and wine.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
Essential Skills:
- RSA certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with reservations and floor plans.
- Expertise in opening and closing procedures.
- Ability to train and mentor staff.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- A professional and friendly demeanor with a customer-first approach.
