We are seeking a talented and experienced Japanese Cuisine Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing traditional and modern Japanese dishes, including Sushi, Teppanyaki, and Sesame-based cuisine, as well as knowledge of other Japanese cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality Japanese dishes, specializing in Sushi, Teppanyaki, and Sesame-based recipes.
Work with fresh, high-quality ingredients to create traditional and innovative dishes.
Showcase skills in other aspects of Japanese cuisine, such as Ramen, Tempura, Teriyaki, Yakitori, Donburi, Katsu, and Sashimi.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen.
Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Engage with guests and ensure an exceptional dining experience, especially when preparing Teppanyaki dishes.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to refine and develop new menu items.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine, with a focus on Sushi, Teppanyaki, and Sesame-based dishes.
In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese cooking techniques, including Ramen, Tempura, Teriyaki, Yakitori, Donburi, Katsu, and Sashimi.
Expertise in food presentation and attention to detail.
Strong knife skills and understanding of food safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
